NOTE: Acceptance of #1 through #7 household plastics.
What does this mean for you? With the addition of other common types of plastics being taken at AHRC you can further reduce your household materials that go to the landfill. From yogurt cups to plastic fruit baskets, these common household packaging materials are yet another addition to the types of materials AHRC is accepting. We do not accept film plastic and styrofoam. We strive to add more materials to our line-up, to not only divert materials from the landfill, but to conserve energy, reduce fossil fuel use, and mining and extraction operations. Note: Plastic must be marked with a recycling symbol and number (corresponding to the type of plastic. For more information, click the "What Do These Numbers Mean?" link below).
